Girls Do not spend more than boys.
My brothers have bought lots of stuff for their cars, bought Wii's Xboxes,computers and video games. Junk like that cost mega
$$$

Girls spend their money more often than boys and that adds up to a lot of money spent but boys doesn't do it often but when they do, they spend a lot. For example girls shop every weekend but boys don't. Boys usually wait for major electronics or sports goods to hit the store, then buy it such as the PS3 which costs 600.

well if you take in mind the things girls use...it's all about staying beautiful and at an early age girls learn to buy things to stay looking youthful...boys usually don't...girls also like clothing more then boys and when stepping into a mall a girl can spend every penny in her pocket where as a boy will probably walk out without buying a thing...so girls do spend more money then boys

Well there is the clothes fashions which are constantly changing and I find girls tend to follow trends more. They might buy makeup/creams/ spot lotions etc. Then there is the expensive hair treatments etc. There are lots of magazines for girls trying to get you to buy the latest products etc there do not seem to be as many for boys. Plus I feel girls gossip more so phone bills go up etc. (this is a generalisation I'm sure its not true in all cases).

It really depends on who it is but from my experiences girls spend more on fashion stuff. (make-up, lip gloss, fingernail polish, cute purses, and that kind of stuff) But fashions are always changing so they have to buy new stuff often.
Boys tend to buy more expensive things but less of them, like games. (nintendo wii, nintendo d.s., nintendo advanced SP, nintendo advanced, nintendo gameboy color, gamecube, nintendo E.S., and nintendo this and that --- x-box, x-box 360 --- playstation, playstation 2, playstation 3, PSP - etc.) Keep in mind that new game systems are always being made and that you buy the games seperately.
Overall I would say boys

Girls spend alot of money because they have more needs.....they spend often...guys need basic things....but it depends mostly on the type of person. geez...y do u wn noe such a simple answer to a simple question....
