Cheer dark is pretty good...and wash them wrong side out

I'm not sure but I think a lot of those specialty detergents making big claims (other than clean) are more hype than really different. If you want to use them, of course it can't hurt but chances are it is unnecessary to spend the money and shelf space for things like this.

With colors you need to wash in cold. For laundry purposes, black is considered a color. Most people also use too much detergent on all of their laundry. Check the fill line on the measuring cup lid and use the right amount.

When you get new colored garments, before washing with any detergent, you can soak them in strong salt water solution (cold water) for several hours then launder gently and dry on low heat. This will set whatever color even deeper into the fibers of the fabric. Try this on any color (reds and jeans in particular) to keep them from bleeding onto other items.

but that new ditergent thet have for dark colored clothes and plus always wash the darks in cold water...i think tide put out something so that you can was in cold water.......when you wash darks in the warm water it makes you clothes come out faded......so whites warm and darks cold.....

cheer for darks. my husband wears only black tshirts and that is all that i use.
