write some topics, im not like in a band or anything, i just wanna no what topics that people can write about for like an emo/punkpop rock sounding thing...like i dont want lyrics, i just want topics

Love, revenge, death, life, hope, relationships(breakups, cheating..),breaking free, things holding you back, fear, faith, politics, anything really it just has to make sense and have meaning behind it.... just don't write songs about jeans and lip gloss (thats rap).lol.

well if your going to do emo, well you cant start writting about how much your suburban lifestyle is opressing you. Also you can also write about that your tight jeans are cool. You could also write about how the mall security guards are hassling you because your emo. Also you can write that you got a bunch of tattoos so you can be like everyone else. You can also write about how un original everyone else is, and that your heavy eye make up defines your musical movement.

well, most songs deal with love in some way or another.. emo and pop punk is usually love, drug addiction and life problems or something like that.. just make sure that it means something really, there are no ties as to what a song can be about, thats the beauty of it

You can write a rock song about anything... I once heard one about dog vomitt... Try writing something people can relate to though... Cold Heart ***** made it big... Something that women claimed to be and men liked to call women... Not anything too bad, because then women don't wanna claim it and men look like assholes for callin em that... lol

Love mostly... but I've heard stuff like religion or rejection... or in the case of Blink-182 or Relient K you can sometimes write about anything that's on your mind.

this'll cover a lot of songs written:
1) current events - try picking up a newspaper (or visit any online news site).
2) personal events - it likely won't make the news, but what's going on in your life
3) the joy and/or anguish of love and relationships

u have to write about whatever ur most passionate about...whatever YOU can really relate to and whats important to YOU...like me personally would write about Jesus all day long cuz He's the most important thing to me :)
