My ipod computer hook up cord isn't working do u know whats wrong with it?

sometimes there is a missing bit in the cord, it could be a loose piece in the plug, or simply a problem with the ipod. Try borrowing a friend's cable and if that works, just buy a new cable.

Ipods suck. Buy a new cable. You should get a Creative Zen Plus or Zune.
