my fiance came over last satrday (it's now monday) and i was basically masturbating him. if that makes any sense at all. but after i put my hands on his parts, i fingered myself. there was no C-U-M/wetness involved at all, but i'm kind of worried that i might be pregnant. i'm on low-ogestrel birth control & i have been for about a year. but i missed a pill on sunday which was september the 2nd. i took it as soon as i got my pills monday morning & continued taking them regularly. there was NO SEXUAL INTERCOURSE AT ALL & i didn't have sexual intercourse after i missed that pill. what is your perspective? pregnancy or paranoid?

Paranoid. First of all, you have to get semen in your vagina to get pregnant. If he did not ejaculate, then there wouldn't be very much semen if any (sometimes men release some without ejaculation, but it isn't very much). So if there was no wetness when you put your fingers in yourself, then you can't get pregnant. Also, missing one pill and taking it the next morning, then you are probably going to be fine. You need to check the insert information that comes with the pills. I am on ortho-cyclen and I have been on yasmin and with either of those, I can miss a pill by up to 24 hours and I'll still be fine. If that isn't the case with your pills, then you should go ahead and use a condom or other back-up birth control until your period comes. Missing pills causes you to ovulate, so you could get pregnant in the next week or so if your pill information doesn't say it's ok. But, no, at this point you really couldn't be pregnant.

Implantation takes place on average 7 - 10 (sometimes 12 but not much more than that) days after intercourse . . . you would not get a positive test until implantation occurred because it is after implantation that the body starts producing the hormone hcg which is detected in blood tests and on home pregnancy tests. What do you mean by 3 1/2 weeks - 4 weeks? Are you counting from your last period? If this is the case, it might be early . . . . If you are counting from when you had unprotected sex and when you think that you conceived . . . then you are probably not pregnant as they should be able to detect it by now. EDIT - as you are now a few days late for your period . . . I would take another home pregnancy test. If it is negative, wait a few more days and request a blood test. Good luck!
