I know stupid question but please help!!!

72 ÷ 2 = 36

If it's a trick question, it is 722

If not, you divide the 2 into 7. 2 goes into 7 three times. 2 x 3 = 6. Subtract the 6 from the 7 and you get 1. Bring down the 2. The 1 combined with the 2 makes the number 12. 2 goes into 12 six times. 6 x 2 = 12. Subtract 12 from 12 and you get 0. So, the answer is 36 with no remainder.

if you divide the symbol 72 in two parts you'll get a 7 and a 2.
