i live in australia and am wondering if i have this idea for a new show or movie
how do i get the people at warner brothers or another major tv thing to look at it

They don't even look at unsolicited submissions.
You need to have a literary agent or some kind of in. Submit your script to some agents. If it's very good you have a chance. Otherwise just keep trying until you are good enough.

You have to get a agent, because the agent will get you interviews with the company's head haunchos.
And for all you amaters out there, there are several types of agents in show buisness.

They probably wont look at it, but find their production office address and send it anyway.
