I am a first time mother and was wondering from other mothers what are the most needed items that I should register for. I already have stoller/ car seat and a bed but what other little things should I register for that people would actually buy

Clothes and sheets are quite common, but I found that diapers were the most useful thing to register for. Register for some of every size so that you will have some in a pinch! Diapers are something you will need more than anything. Start with what you do know about babies. They eat, sleep and go potty. You will be changing them and their bed clothes more frequently than you think, so be sure to get extra bedding supplies, (sheets, mattress covers, and so on). Toys are fun too. I wouldn't register for formula or bottles until you know what kind of botlle and formula is best for your baby. But I would start with the Playtex brand bottles, they seem to be the ones most babies choose. My son was breast fed for the first 7 months, so we didn't even use bottles until then and he was very picky about his. Good luck and have fun!

be sure and add cheaper stuff too so that everyone will be able to find something. Maybe a few outfits, diapers, wipes, bath stuff, bottles that you like, lots and lots of onesies!! Maybe a baby bath tub??
But just to warn you...I registered over 100 items and recieved 3! Most people prefer to shop from their own taste so you get something personal from them.

burp cloths, bibs, diaper cream and diapers, breastfeeding pillow (boppy), nursing pads, baby bathtub, blankets, swing, pack and play, highchair, diaper bag, sheets and crib sets, onesies, sleepers, socks, baby monitor, baby health care kit, bottles, pacifiers, a car sunshade, bottle warmer, thermometer, wipes, baby shampoo and bath stuff, towels... pretty much anything you want, need, or think you will need.
Its up to them what they buy you, but at least with a registry they know what you are looking for. Go to Target, WalMart and Babies R Us and have a look around. You can create a registry at each store to get a variety of things.

I registered for a bunch of diff. items like: newborn and size 1 diapers, infant tylenol,gas relief med. (can't remember the name), unscented wipes, infant toys, boppy pillow, waterproof pad for the crib, bibs/spit-up cloths, Avent bottles, washcloths/baby wash and shampoo, size 3-6 month clothes, and blankets. That's not everything, but it's what I remember. Good luck!

i would ask for a first aid kit, and tons of diapers (any sizes), wipes, baby shampoo and stuff like that. you most likely will get tons of clothes, and you always need diapers!

DIAPERS, DIAPERS , DIAPERS. Clothes and other things you can buy on your own. little tee shirts are good you will change the babies clothes alot. but you can never have enough diapers and baby wipes.
