Your right, It wastes gas to haul around all that extra gas! gas weighs 6.5 lbs per gal. that's over 600 per 100. The lighter your car is, the better the gas mileage.

I don't know if you can find one with a smaller gas tank, but for a temporary solution, only fill it half full : )

And reasoning behind going to the gas station so often? 11 gallon x30mpg = 330 miles. Small car with a big tank to find low price fuel then fill up a 20 gallon tank = 660 miles? The cost is the same small tank as is a larger tank. Like saying my car is not getting the same milage as 4 years ago it does not go as far on $5 dollars as it used to.

The advantage of a bigger tank of gas is that it will take you further and you won't have to fill-up as much. If you can't afford to fill-up your Rio, then don't fill it up. Just put like five or ten bucks worth of gas and pretend that you've got a really (I mean really) tiny gas tank. HAPPY NOW? I'm sure you are.

The answer is a BMW i3 which has a 1.9 gallon gas tank but it gets 130 miles per gallon.

I don't understand your logic. Surely you should be asking which cars have engines with the best fuel economy?
You should be looking to find out which cars will give you more miles/gallon, not what cars have a tiny fuel tank
