I'll have to admit, I don't care for the current trend of using random place names when you have no connection to the actual place (in other words, all the children named Brooklyn, Camden, London, etc. when the parents have never set foot in those places, don't have family from there, etc.). However, if I understand from your additional comment, you DO want to use the name to honor Ireland, and I'm assuming your heritage.

In that case, I think it's a fine choice, and I commend you for not trying to dumb down the spelling to something horrendous like Irelynn or Iyrlynd or something equally bad. LOL Now THAT would be anything but nice. ;) I completely agree with you ... if you are going to use a place name in honor of that city/town/country, etc., it makes absolutely no sense to spell it incorrectly. Cheers to you!

I'm not sure if you wanted two more (alternative) middle names, or two names for possible siblings that would go with Ireland.

If it's middle names you were after, and since you do like short, simple Rose, you might consider Maeve, Niamh (NEEV) or even Roisin (ROSH-een - basically an Irish pet form of Rose). ;)

For siblings, I'd definitely stick with Celtic first names. A sib set like Ireland, Lorelei and Raiden (to use two other obviously NOT-Irish names -- basically German and Japanese LOL) is just a bit odd.

Sisters to Ireland might include Clodagh (CLO-da - Irish river name, and the nickname Cloe, like Chloe, is sweet), Siobhan, Niamh, Talulla or Orla.

For brothers, perhaps Cillian, Ronan, Lachlan or Ewan. ;)

Hope that helps! ;)

Seriousl it is fun to play around with names and all but you are probably likely to change your mind a lot between now and acctually being old enough to have kids.

I think it's an odd name why do people insist on naming their kids names that are countries? I find it odd but thats just me I guess.

Anyways I have changed my mind like 100 times on baby names over the years. 8 years ago i LOVED the name KHYLA but I had a son LOVED the name KYLE but my husband didn't :-( wasn't allowed to call him that so he got CALEB my 2nd choice. Now if I ever had a girl I wouldn't name her KHYLA. Ya tastes on things change as ya get older even tho I loved it for ages and ages and still think it is a pretty name I got something else in mind now.

Anyway have fun playing with baby names it is so much fun.

Ella Rose is cute! i'm no longer a huge fan of Veronica yet Veronica Mae sounds advantageous :) i admire Emerson! i became into going to signify Emerson Rae yet as quickly as I observed the greater desirable ingredient approximately how Emerson Bay became into the place you met your husband.. that makes Bay look greater useful to me. I cant %. a usual. i like all of them, yet Emerson Bay has the main meaning it style of feels. sturdy luck and Congrats!! :)
