Last night I went to the American Idol concert. We were right next to the side of the stage so everybody came really close to us and there were tons of cool songs. That day we found our digital camera we had lost about a month ago so we decided to take that. I figured that since we were so close I should take some pictures. I think I tried a little too hard though. I feel like I was taking pictures during every single song. I think I should have just let my mom take pictures so I could watch the concert with my own eyes instead of through the camera most of the time. IDK why but I just had this really guilty feeling in my stomach when it was over because I've never had such good seats at a concert before and I probably never will again. Idk if anyone understands the point I'm trying to make, but has anyone EVER felt like this?

Why do you feel bad about having good seats? The pictures were the best thing you could've done. When you go back and look through them you'll have many great memories of the show that night. Just be happy you did what you enjoy and had a good time doing it.

i went to the jonas brothers concert, and i was all the way up in the front, good seats, but you know how dumb i was?? insted, i took pictures, and saw the concert behind the lens, it was sad, but good thing they sang more than 1 one song, but anyways, the pictures weren't that good anyways :[
ahh, you are feeling like this because you feel like you missed a great oppurtunity, it's ok :], it's no big deal,
you will be fine, but next time, when you are lucky, when you have the chance to go to a concert, be sure to let your hands free, and dance the night along :] and let your friend, or mom, or whatever person that came with youu take pictures.
:]gooooodd luck.

i felt the exact same way when i went to europe. i took so many pictures and videos that i feel like i didn't really SEE anything. i do the same thing when we go on any family vacation. it's hard being the person behind the camera.
i usually do that on vacations, but sometimes i just let my dad take the camera and i watch things myself.
yes, i understand completely, and i feel like that a lot. don't even bother listening to all those other mean answers, they're just getting two points and nothing else.

It was an American Idol concert. I'm sure you've seen it all on TV and plus you got some good pics that you will have as a keepsake forever. I think you did the right thing, now upload those pics on the web so we can see them! I'd like to see them!

I did feel like that. When I'm traveling abroad and there's something interesting happening I reach for the camera and film it (or take pictures).
Look at it this way: Now you can remember that time for much longer than you would have if you just watched.

we all have guilty feeling of missed opportunities
just take this experience and learn that next time you might want to enjoy the moment instead of preserving it.
