Lamont Jordan has been an absolute BEAST this season. I've had him on my bench though(my mistake). Anyways, I've got 2 really good RB's(McGahee and Larry Johnson), and I need help at TE, so I'm gonna try and trade him. I've got these options at TE:

-Antonio Gates
-Todd Heap
-Tony Gonzalez
-Chris Cooley
-Jeremy Shockey
-Kellen Winslow
-Vernon Davis
-Jason Witten
-L. J. Smith
-Ben Watson
-Dallas Clark
-Heath Miller
-Randy McMichael
-David Martin

Supposing I were to try and trade him, who would I have the best chance to get? Would I be able to trade him straight up, or would I have to try and package him with someone else?

Why don't you wait a week? He's going to go off against Cleveland, and his value will go up (I think he'll outperform your starters this week, but I know it's tough to bench guys like the real LJ and McGahee.) Dominic Rhodes will be back after his four game suspension, and may (but probably won't) make Jordan's value go down, but does your whole league know that?

I'd say go after Gates, Heap, or Miller. But I'd be prepared to part with McGahee instead. I'd also make sure I'm not causing bye week trouble doing that.

Do not trade him for a middling tight end. The top tight ends in the league have value, and the rest are practically the same. Don't trade when there is someone almost as good on the waiver wire you can get for free.

And if you go after a proven top guy like Heap or Gates, you are going to have to give up a lot--their owners blew an early draft pick to get some points out of that position (at the expense of a running back), and probably haven't changed their minds yet. A lot will depend on things we can't see here--namely how good the owners in your league are, how many teams in your league, scoring system, their RB depth, and so on.

Put an offer out there, but don't make it sweeter than you should just to make it happen. You don't need a TE that badly. Having a good RB on your bench may seem like a waste, not to mention a painful decision each week, but it has saved seasons for many.

you will almost never get him with gates unless the other team has a good backup TE and horrible RBs.

Todd heap you'll most likely get him but he might know what you're trying to do.

49% cChance because Trent green is gone but Gonzalez is gonna slow down cause of that.

Chris Cooley isn't really worth it.if brunell were still his QB then sure.but he's not so that's a rip off trade.

shockey is worth it though.you should try it with him im curious what the owner of him will do.

Winslow is what you ll get the most.he's off to a awesome start.

Davis is not worth it.San Fran is not in the passing game at all.

you should try L.J. he's gonna step up now that stallworth is gone.

the other ones aren't worth it

The smarter thing to do would be to trade Larry Johnson. KC isn't going anywhere this year and expect Johnson to have a crappy season fantasy wise. I'd say trade him for Antonio Gates.

I hate to say this, but LJ right now is sucking hind end. Herm isn't giving him the rock. As much as I want LJ to get started, Herm isn't giving him a chance. Solari as Off. Coor. is a joke. If you could get Gonzalez, i'd think about it. Him and Gates are going to get your some points. the other might. McMichael would be my 3rd choice.

Wait a minute. Is this really a fantasy team? Or are you just Al Davis trying to figure out what to do? C'mon Al. You should know better.
