I've actually done it. When my TV went, I didn't replace it for over a year. I didn't have a cell phone and had no computer at the time.
I got a lot of reading done and was able to spend time with people talking and sharing ideas. I left the house a lot more and got more exercise. I had much better eating habits and was in better health overall.
That's my story and yes, I am sure I could do it again.

What do you think everyone did BEFORE we had all this stuff! I don't have a cell phone now or cable! If I lost my computer and TV oh well, there are plenty of other things to do!

DOH!! NO!!! Well, if I was doing something fun everyday, I might, but it would be hard. I could definately live without a cell phone, I don't have one, and I could live without a computer or TV, just have one.

i have done it i lived in a farmhouse off the grid in the middle of nowhere and after 1 1/2 years i sold it and now am catching up on all i missed there was no cell service there either it was cool for awhile but i am back now yippee
