My bestfriend who is a guy admited to me that he has been in love with me for the past year. we have been trying to still keep our friendship going even with his feeling for me but its hard when i dont share the same feelings.
he HATES if i even look at another guy and he gets jealous to the point that he has been starting to put me down to make himself feel better. i was engaged to his really good friend for the past 4 years but we just broke up about 6 months ago so i have been going out and meeting a lot of new people and having fun with my girl friends. this bothers my best friend because he feels like id rather hang out with other people rather than him which is not true its just nice to go out with the girls every once in a while.

drink was talking to me at the bar and my best friend came up and told me to meet him outside in 5 min when i was done but when i got out there he wasnt there. i called him twice and there was no answer and he never showed back up for about an hour so i went home and went to bed. well the next day all of our mutual friends told me that he was going around all the bars telling people i sleep with a new guy every week and i DONT do that at ALL!! so i told my best friend that we can no longer hang out because he is putting my reputation in jepordy just to make himself feel better.

friends don't d that period. drop that fool, well you know the reason, if you continue this haphazardly relationship someone may be in danger.no you did what you had to do.

That is not a friend if you ask me. And, if you got together, he sounds like he would be very controlling. Do you want that? I would drop him.
