Recently the electronic latch has stopped working leaving the trunk partially open but not flapping...any one know how to make it a manual latch, the motor is waaay to expensive to replace, told him I'd ask

Many clever mechanics would screw down the motor and make the latch manual with keyless release. You can take the latch off the body of the car and start messing with it. And the latch thing is not expensive when bought out of an auto salvage yard.

with those vehicles, you are almost left with no choice but to replace the motor because it will cost you just as much to convert it to manual.

no dice on making it manual .if it is really the motor ,shop a salvage yard

he can get the motor from a junk yard
