If there is an infinite amount of numbers, does that mean that there is a number shaped like a Chevy nova with rings of bacon? Having a lot of anything doesn't necessarily mean that it starts behaving differently. It doesn't even mean that there's necessarily any difference at all.

And althrough I know of NO astronomers or physicists who think our universe is infinite in size nor any scientists who believe anything can be infinitely small, you have to consider that much of what we THINK we know is based on just our tiny corner of the universe. Though it is not likely that everything will suddenly follow different rules one planet, star system, or galaxy over, it is not inconcievable either.

Still, going by what evidence we DO have, I wouldn't count on either an infinite universe nor bacon rings... but there's plenty of hunks of rock in space, and there's probably one shaped like a Chevy nova out there SOMEWHERE...

i wonder if the universe is truly infinite, or if it just seems that way because of our size.

As for the chevy thing, it probably doesn't exist but I guess it's possible.

Allah, the Great and Merciful, would NEVER permit such a sacrilege to exist in the Universe.
