When people with a race agenda stop putting up far left candidates so they can be shot down and then yell that we are still a racially divided country,I tell you if we ever figure out we have a lot more in common than we do in differences people like politicians the NAACP and the the ACLU will be out of work, I can support Alan Keys or Mrs. Rice and get this they are both black and one is a women but neither are far left.It is not so much skin tone as it is politics

What the difference? Do you think that it will be a better president because is black?
Your question is discriminatory. You're making the skin color an issue.
The reason why there was no black president is because no black candidate reached the number of votes required for that.
What do you want? a skin color quota for presidents? a religious quota? a sex quota?

What about a Jewish President too? In Ireland we've had Jewish Lord Mayor's of Dublin, and Britain had a Jewish Prime Minister in the name of Benjamin Disraeli way back in the 19th Century. France has had numerous Jewish Presidents. I, myself, am a Roman Catholic, but I am very much aware how much Jews have contributed to the culture of Western society. Think about it. With all the accomplishments Jews have done for America, how come there still hasn't been a Jewish American President?

OBAMA will be the next president of the United States, and when he wins, maybe you should take advantage of his education programs and learn a bit more about English Composition. Take care.

(OBAMA IS Bi-racial (White and Black).

When one comes forward who is qualified for the job. Colin Powell didn't the job. Obama has no experience and it is showing.

Same applies for Jews, "Rita K". Joe Lieberman might have gone somewhere, but he's too conservative to suit the Democrats and they turned theri backs on him. And despite about 10 percent of the U.S. Senate being Jewish, there doesn't seem to be anyone else who would be fit for the job. We sure don't want anything like Charles Schumer, Frank Lautenbach, or Diane Feinstein.

Why do you care what color the president is?
Alan Keyes is running and would make a Great President. And he happens to be black.

Bill Clinton was our First Black President, and he was a flop.

John Edwards could become our First Female President.
But who cares?

It might be fun, but I think white America is still a bit frightened of electing a black guy to be president. In the back of their minds they here this little voice saying "what if he decides to stick it to whitey for the slavery thing?".

Duh, color doesn't matter. When a black candidate shows that he's got what it takes. And it won't be because he's black, it'll be because he knows how to run with the big dogs. It's all a system. Once someone fits into that system right, no matter what color he is, he'll be elected. GOD!!!! people are so stupid when they focus on skin color. Even questions about why are still focusing attention on the issues. for F sake! DROP IT!
