I would like to know if you had an ovarian cyst and it went away did you have pain for a long time afterwards. Also, where was the pain at? Was it next to your belly button or just in different places.
I was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst. About a month ago the doctor said that it was disolved, I'm still having pain in my right side and next to my belly button.

Any information you could provide me with would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
Katie

I had one on my right ovary the whole time I was pregnant. I never had any pain from it though. My doctor removed it when I delivered by C-section. My doctor said that all women get them while on their period and afterwards they are dissolved back into the body. However mine did not so it was removed. Make an appt. with your doctor to have it re-checked to make sure its gone or not something else.

The so much average symptom is excessive anguish that is localized across the ovary. It's probably a stabbing anguish or a sense of excessive anguish/stress in that discipline. The anguish can radiate to surrounding places. The signs of ovarian cysts can mimic the ones of alternative average feminine problems, like endometriosis or fibroids. You will have to make an appointment along with your gynecologist quickly. They will do a pelvic examination and most probably an inner ultrasound.

My pain was closer to my hip, which is where your ovaries are.
Your pain is probably gas - that's usually next to your belly button. Try gas-x, it really works. Some people have gas so bad they think it's their appendix bursting.
I had surgery for cysts because the pain was so great I couldn't even function, the doctor had to drain the cysts because they were nearly an inch in size.

My ovarian cyst caused pain in my right lower quadrant about 1 inch in from my right iliac bone just about 1 inch above my pubic bone. The pain went away in about 3 days.
You have symptoms of appendicitis. They call the area where you are hurting McBurneys point. Call your doctor if this pain is not resolved or if you are running a fever.

I have the same problem, I get cysts and they're painful.
Every couple of months I get sharp pains in my abdomin region, but the most pain is closer to each of my hip bones.

Cysts can "explode", then regrow, then "explode", then regrow, etc etc. My doctor says taking birth control can help control cysts, for having too many can lead to infertility.

Hope that helps!
