I don't know - that is a tough call because Navy isn't that good. There only victory so far was over Temple http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/teams/nna and Temple hasn't had a winning season since 1990 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temple_Owls_football and are 0-3 so far this year. I think Notre Dame could beat Navy - but I don't think I would put money on it.
Good Luck!!!

OMG yes! Navy, after forty years or so with no victories over ND, will finally win one this year!! One poster said they have played three ranked teams. Not true. G. Tech was unranked when they played them and only got ranked a week later when ND made them look better than they actually are. Mich. was thoroughly unranked when they played. Where they were ranked preseason is irrelevant. Only Penn St. was ranked, but beyond that they weren't remotely competitive against any of these teams. Navy and Air Force (another service academy that will beat ND this year!) would have been at least as competive as ND was. As one AFC scout put it "This is the worst D1 off. line I've seen in a long time." (quote taken from a 9/17 yahoo article). That isn't going to magically change before the Navy game. Maybe they'll beat Stanford and Duke. Everything else will be a struggle.

Yep. Navy will run the ball all day long which will keep the ND defense on the field for 40 minutes. By the time that game comes around, that defense is already going to be just worn down. Then add in the fact that ND can't move the ball (79 yards against Mich - Mich gave up over 1,100 in their first 2 games) and Navy walks away with a win. Air Force gives the Irish a beat down this year also.

SpaceBoy needs to get a clue. The previous poster said 3 ranked teams, they didn't say they were ranked at the time Notre Dame played them. Hey space boy, if ND loses to Navy, I will concede, but you are clueless!!

I don't think so. ND is bad, but not as bad as a normal 0-3 team would look. They have lost to 3 ranked teams (one pre-season top 5, 1 current top 10 and 1 other top 20 team). When Navy rolls around (9th game for ND), the freshman QB will be better and ND should win.

its most definitely possible
Notre Dame has no true quarterback and their team doesn't click like it did in the past few years. It'll take a few years before they start to win again.
