in or near Springville, Utah? I've been oferred a temporary assignment starting immediately, and lasting until the end of May 2008. It's very lucrative, but I want a temporary place and to keep my current residence, so I can put the extra money into savings, a new car, etcetera.

Any help, or even other suggestions would be welcome.

Remember that it gets real cold there during the winter. I have lived in trailers in Utah twice during the winter. You have problems with your water lines freezing up but that is easily countered by heat tape. Make sure your heaters are working properly and that the home is insulated well so your utility bills are not extreme.
Most of your rental costs are going to be based around the ground rental rate of the park where the mobile home is located. There are homes on private land but they are not always easy to find. Size and quality are going to be your final determining factor. If you just want a small one bedroom Trailer type home you should be able to get something that is inexpensive and nice.
It's been a while since I was in Utah so I can't give you a good figure. Many retired people in Utah are snowbirds that go south during the winter. You might be able to find a real deal at this time of year. Good luck.
