I can see us becoming a Republic at least some time in the future, though I have nothing against the Monarchy it just seems like the obvious route.
What do you think?

And I love the monarchy
The UK isn't ready for a republic yet, I think.

It depends on what you think a republic is. Just because we don't have a royal family anymore doesn't mean we are obliged to have a president...as some people seem to think!!
The point of a secondary leadership is to give a moral perspective....Our royal family cannot do it, a president cannot do it...Jade Goody tried and failed!!...so your guess is as good as mine!

i certainly hope not.the uk has an actual good reason for the monarchy and are doing fine.
