I'd like your comments on what the latest issue of the Portuguese newspaper "Correio Da Manha" ('Morning Post') says today 17th of Sept ( I used Yahoo's 'Translate Page' facility ) : " The Judiciary Policy want to interrogate the McCanns again in Portugal. The Portuguese "Judge Of First Instruction" did not accede to the JP-GNR's request and instead granted an order allowing the English authorities to interview the McCanns at their own pace whenever the English police found appropriate. The decision will compel the Judiciary Police to wait for the British police to proceed to the inquiry of the parents of Maddie if and when the British Police find it necessary. " I am very curious to read your comments. Or, for those who want a question instead, do you think the case will now be solved quicker ? Don't you think that the Portuguese PJ-GNR would rather see for themselves the McCanns reactions to questions instead of receiving from England on paper "To question 5 they answered NO" ??

In other words, is this the reason why the McCanns fled Portugal the moment they were under serious suspicion ? Let's not forget that 3 days before they were under suspicion Kate declared on the 10th August "I SHALL NOT BE DRIVEN FROM PORTUGAL BY THE BULLYING PORTUGUESE POLICE AND WE SHALL STAY IN PORTUGAL UNTIL MADDIE IS FOUND"

I will say it again... when a case becomes too "international" and too high profile, money comes in, governments come in and shut it all down. The only parties I trust in this case are the Portuguese equivalent to the US's FBI, the PJ-GNR. and those have been now literally been wiped off the case. Now the McCanns will earn film rights, front page in the Times Magazine. Do you remember Mike Tyson ? When he was on trial for rape, another white boy was also on trial for rape - a Kennedy. The black boy went to prison and the white Kennedy found not guilty. Me ? No I am not black, LOL. I am in fact blonde with blue eyes but I love TRUTH and I hate smelling rats, LOL.

The British police will do nothing until things have died down and then it will be swept under the carpet. It's a cop out by the PJ. I mean what does "at their own pace" and "when they find it appropiate" mean. I hope I am wrong and that there is a thorough investigation.

All I can say is innocent until proven guilty. I want to know why the chief of police resigned and why police lied about the strands of hair being found in the boot when they were actually found in the rear seats, so could have been from the twins? They hadn't 100% matched them to Maddie's DNA either. Somethings sounds very odd about this and I think the police have made a complete sham of the case. Anyway why believe what the papers say and let's just wait for the truth as it's just speculation and gossip.

Bullying police are probably fitting the bill to keep them in the state - they were only suposed to be there on a two week break - it was a little over that. Bullying police are of course concerned with what they have to pay for - wouldn't you be? Not to take things personally but as a matter of personal opinion in the newspaper against the official versions. It is of course an embarresment for the police-force, that they can do little else other than follow their chain of command and do what they do..by seeking the missing girl...find out the events and truth of the matter. It might mean a wake up call for the police to get more involved in such affairs - though am sure they do know what they are doing and doing what they can.

Perhaps the Judge has more evidence than people believe. The Portuguese, must be sick of being downed all the time.
So if our police handle. Will more notice be taken of them

Yes I think its robbing something from the PJ, letting our force deal with it. No doubt it will be all VERY polite and they will be treated like celebs!
At their own pace!? Where on earth would this happen other than here for Gods sake!
These two are suspected of killing their daughter, and shopuld be treated as such. I mean fairly Yes, of course, but under caution, video taped and grilled just like any other suspect.
Not all namby pamby, in the conference room, in a proper interveiw room.

Probably a good thing. They will be questioned in their own language and there can be no question regarding misunderstanding due to language problems.

Bear in mind that even if the McCanns are guilty they are also very rich and if history has taught us anything it's that the rich can and do get away with all sorts of crimes, and murder...
