Okay, im on b/c because of my super long heavy periods. My first question is, let's say i get sick and have like a fever or soar throat because cold weather's coming up soon. is it safe to take some medicince to cure it while on the pills? another is, when i take the reminder pills is it normal if i bleed a lot and for about 2 weeks?can i be excused from phys ed? is dizziness and blurriness a side effect? oh another is if i take th pills for 3 months i started in aug. so this is my 2nd month will my periods finally be normal or does it take longer? bescuse i use to have periods( twice it hapned) where it took up to a month. my doc said that we'll see in nov. my next checkup for if i will be normal plz n thnks

If you get sick ,call the dr and ask..
It may take 2-3 months or more for your system to regulate

If you are ill and need to take something while on the birth control pill, that is fine. Make sure that your doctor is aware that you are on the pill, though.
If you are ever on antibiotics, use a back-up form of birth control, such as condoms, while you are under treatment. Somehow, antibiotics can decrease the efficiency of the birth control pill.
You really shouldn't be bleeding so much while on the pill, if that continues, definitely tell the gyn. Dizziness and blurriness can be side effects, most side effects do go away within a couple of months. Make sure that your doctor knows about them, esp the blurriness.
Normally it takes about 3 months or so to see how effective a pill will be for you. Since you are on your second month, give it another one or two, see what happens.

Call your doctor... or talk to the nurse at your gyno office.... They should be able to answer all of your questions.
