Before the season started you couldn't find a question without one of the answers being "Superbowl: Saints 30 - Pats 27". What happened here? Did the wagon lose a wheel or get lost somewhere?

Yeah I guess they decided to take the bus home....There is no denying that everyone, including yourself, thought that the Saints would at least beat Tampa Bay...or at the very least not get creamed. I'll give them Indy, that was tough, but Tampa? 0-2? Come on...I'm all for the Saints losing as you can plainly see, but don't you dare sit there and act like you expected them to do this bad on both sides of the ball..defense was pretty obvious, though.

But I do agree with you...I haven't heard a peep out of any of them...it's a sweet silence...NFC South went from potentially dominating to the crap hole of the NFC...I hope Carolina can be the floater in that toilet bowl of floating turds named the NFC South....

They blew a tire on the way home from Tampa.

But seriously, it's a long season, and the Saints will win their share of games. They have too much talent and good coaches to struggle this year. They will get the wagon moving again, and start winning some games. 0-2 doesn't mean your season is over, just a bad start. Let's see if the Saints can show some character and rebound from this.

Its no secret the Saints rode the "Katrina sympathy bus" all the way to the playoffs last year. Now that most of the mud has dried up, a lot of the passengers have bailed out.

A few in the media are still squeezing the last few drops of seawater out of the story, but the Saints gonna have to find their own source of momentum this year.

Maybe they can get Bush to order up another hurricane....

Yeah, its been the main important bandwagonning of any team i've got ever seen bar none. i'm useful most of the Saints followers do no longer think of so. yet they went from a team that few cheered for to the team that could desire to do no incorrect. they have been picked to win the tremendous Bowl because of the fact that with regards to the 2d or third week of the season. The Colts have their bandwagoners too, yet they have had to win over critics. on the initiating of the year they have been picked to pass 10-6 for the reason that they had a clean head coach and lost Marvin Harrison. Then whilst the two the Colts and Saints have been thirteen-0 not one of the CBS activities casters even picked the Colts to make the tremendous Bowl. Over a million/2 of the Fox activities casters picked the Jets over the Colts. And ESPN stated the Jets had a bigger team and greater beneficial training. Heaven basically help us if the Saints win. The bandwagonning will improve exponentially for the Saints if that happens. I observed it take place to the Colts after 2006. human beings have been flying in from California to visual reveal unit Colts video games. those that had by no ability been Colts followers previously have been claiming to be Colts followers as quickly as they gained the tremendous Bowl. Made it puzzling for those individuals followers that have been followers because of the fact the team got here to Indy in 1984 to attempt getting tickets. There had by no ability previously been a wait record for season tickets and then it went to a waiting record of 20,000 or greater for tickets. real Saints followers will are conscious of it if the Saints win the tremendous Bowl. It is in basic terms no longer almost as elementary to pass to the video games and get to be sure their team play as they as quickly as did. And cost ticket expenses will start to upward thrust too. and that's something real Saints followers do no longer want. Saints followers is in basic terms no longer especially the followers from Louisiana. they're going to be ones from California, Colorado, Maine, Florida, Texas...human beings coming from throughout that in basic terms are cheering for them in basic terms because of the fact they seem to be a winner and due to the typhoon tale. The Katrina consequence has led to their bandwaggoning to enhance exponentially. it somewhat is spectacular to be sure greater followers cheering on your team, yet i could fairly in basic terms see those cheering which will stick around and could proceed to assist the team whilst later on they pass via some tough dropping seasons.

It's hilarious. I had an argument with a guy on here that told me the saints will win the NFC and that the defense was good. Now I can't find him anywhere his screen name was DB. I think he changed it and is wearing a paper bag over his head like they used to do in the 90's.

Jason David is the worst corner in the league!

I think the wagon lost a couple of wheels and flipped over.

They, like the Chiefs offense, have disappeared. Not me. I am very accustomed to rooting for bad Saints teams, and will continue to do so.

I will still root for them. They seem to be suckified right now though. I don't know why Bush can't run. I still hope they pick it up

They went with the "Larry Johnson will rush for 2,000 yards" homers and the "Texans will suck" critics whom are always "right".
