Ryan Leaf is no longer in the NFL and Reggie Bush is a young gifted athlete. Only time will tell with Mr. Bush so I would say the bigger failure is Ryan Leaf.

What are you talking about? Last time I checked Reggie played a big part in helping the historically hapless Saints to the NFC Championship game (btw he scored their only td in that game). People forget how bad the Saints were just the year prior which is how they ended up with the second pick in the first place. He scored 10 td's despite splitting time at back with Deuce. He returns punts, and is also a receiving threat. Every week, #25 will draw the most attention from opposing defenses - - without fail. The Saints are out of the gate slow, but don't put it all on Reggie. I didn't hear anybody saying that Mario Williams was a bust after a mediocre first season last year. Williams is playing much better this year after a year under his belt. Leaf was an absolute joke as a player, and to compare him to Reggie is ridiculous. You're wrong about this guy - - there is much more to winning than fantasy football stats ( See season stats for previous champs like the Ravens, Bucaneers, or even the mighty Patriots).

Without a doubt, Ryan Leaf. You can't blame Reggie's slow start on him alone. The Saints O-line has been playing bad. It's hard to rush the ball when the line is not giving you holes to hit. How do you catch the ball when your QB has no time to get it to you?
Once the O-line starts playing better, the Saints offense will be playing better, including Bush.
Ryan Leaf was a joke, he should have never made it to the NFL.

Ryan Leaf. Reggie Bush still has a career and wwill still be a decent running back. He's been put in a roll in New Orleans where he's a receiving back. He doesn't get many carries. He has the talent to be a featured back and will be that way soon.

Leaf beats out Bush 1000% but also these players David Klingler, Akili Smith, Ki-Jana Carter, Dan "Big Daddy" Wilkinson, Peter Warrick, Tony Mandarich, Lawrence Phillips, Courtney Brown, Reggie Kelly, Todd Marinovich, Blair Thomas, Curtis Enis, Steve Emtman, Aundray Bruce, Andre Ware, Gino Toretta, Brian Bosworth, Rashaam Salaam, J.J. Stokes, Eric Crouch, Mike Phipps, Rod Hill, Shante Carver, Walt Patulski, and D.J. Dozier just to name a few. Goes to show you you may be a greta college ballplayer but you have to become a man to play in the NFL

no disrespect to you but, how can you compare Reggie Bush to Ryan Leaf. Ryan Leaf made little or no impact on his team at least Reggie Bush helped somewhat to his team going to the playoffs.

Leaf hands down. Bush, however, might be no. 2. It's going to be interesting. Watch the stats for Duece and Reggie and see what happens. I'm putting 20 on duece being the workhorse and Reggie being the miniature pony.

This is not an intelligent question.
Bush may be learning how to set up his blocks, but at least his teams have won in the NFL.
Leaf started 16 games and won four. Bush has already exceeded those amounts in his rookie year, and will be seeing a Pro Bowl someday.
