Yes, they are exellent climbers, and can carry prey twice thier weight up trees. In-fact they spend most thier time in trees making them semi abboreal. They even sleep in them.

Often Leopards are followed quite closley by hyenas looking for the oppurtunity to steal their prey. They will even stick around after the Leopard has climbed the tree in the off chance that the cat will drop its' victim, allowing the Hyenas to steal it.

One of the greatest climbers in the cat family. They only drag their kills up trees to consume them. But Leopard cubs are taught to hide in tree hollows when their mother goes to hunt and remain there until their mother returns. I recently watched and excellent program on leopards called the Leopards Son. If you get a chance to watch this program by all means do. It is exceptional.

Leopards are excellent tree climbers and hide their prey in trees but other prey animals often come and eat it before they have a chance to return for it.

Yes. They can even drag their prey up the tree with them so nothing else can steal it.
