I don't know but I imagined the driver dressed in 80s attire talking on an 80's phone when I read this.

Hey, don't laugh! I still use one on my 2000 Jeep! I'd do anything to keep my baby from being stolen! Jeeps and other 4 wheel vehicles get stolen A LOT in this town.

It actually saved a woman's life. The woman actually used it as a club when these jerks tried to car jack her. She Clubbed them silly! Sounds like she got her money's worth.

omigod! that's so funny -- my 86-year old dad still puts the club on his 17-year old gas guzzling Grand Marquis! AS IF someone wants to steal that thing! Even funnier -- he leaves it UNLOCKED...he insists that just the MERE sight of it is a CRIME DETERRENT!

They do deter most thieves. Theives are lazy and they will go on to an easier mark. Plus most people ignore alarms anyway.

I use one on a old 75 datsun 280z, it has no alarm and dont want to install one

Did you know all of them have a built in release mechanism you can use without a key? I do.
