anyone stepped up and created some non-stick cookware that doesn't release TFE's or other harmful chemicals at higher temperatures? I'm getting a little tired of using stainless steel and non-stick cooking spray.

You need to practice with your stainless cookware. If you use the proper temperatures, nothing sticks to them. Catch an episode of any of the cooking shows and you will not see them using any sprays.
