it is normal in some cases, but it could also be a sign of a miscarriage, confirm with ur dr.

i m almost 7 wks preg, i had spotting everyday for about 2 wks(4th and 5th wk).
i went to er and had ultrasound, transvaginal ultrasound, blood tests and still dr couldn't say anything for sure.
i m going there tomorrow for another utrasound.

Many women have slight bleeding or spotting during the first months of pregnancy and lots of discharge the further along into their pregnancy they are. If the bleeding is accompanied by pain then you MUST get it checked out by your midwife/doctor. If not and your still worried give them a ring anyway to put your mind at rest. Keep an eye on when and how much blood you see and also any pain.

NO. That is NOT normal AT ALL. Get to the ER NOW! I lost my baby girl at 21 weeks last year a day after having discharge with blood in it!

Whomever gave the tumbs down needs to do some research or talk to their OB/GYN. My OB when I was pregnant with my son told me to call IMMEDIATELY if I ever had discharge with blood in it!
