Very wrong, and potentially lethal if you tried the experiment of drinking both.
An ether has the generic formula R-O-R'. Beer contains ethyl alcohol, which has the generic formula R-OH. (R and R' represents organic groups).
Now, you **could** make two alcohol molecules from one ether molecule by splitting the ether linkage and inserting water: for example, diethyl ether could be split into two molecules of ethanol, but the process would require several steps:
C2H5-O-C2H5 + excess concentrated HX ====> C2H5OH + C2H5X
separate the alcohol from the alkyl halide and excess acid, then:
C2H5X + NaOH =====> C2H5OH + NaX
and extract the second alcohol from the salt solution.
But your body won't do this on its own.
And beer has many other chemicals in it, too, the vast majority of it, of course, being water. So, not recommended!

Sorry, not true and what is more, ether is toxic to drink .. very dangerous. Beer has a number of things in it but it is mainly a mixture of ethanol and water.

Yes, I have heard of this beer. However, I stopped consuming Beer over 24 years ago. I stopped consuming all Alcoholic Beverages in March 1994. I do not miss it one bit.
