The two drafts look to be a bit out of shape, lacking a lot of muscle definition, and that makes them look heavier than they are. That being said, they will probably tone up nice, but it is a bit hard to tell at this point.

As for being overweight- I would say they are pasture kept horses with fresh grass available- They are only mildly overweight- easy enough to work out. Belgians tend to be a heavier set draft (at least in looks with their shorter legs) than a lot of the other breeds.

They say they are about 1500 lbs.....my 17.2 mostly clyde mare is 1650 as an excellent inshape weight- when she is fat, she goes up to 2000. I think they are underestimating the weight a bit on those horses. I would guess closer to 1600-1700 right now.

the pony is in halter shape; yet, even for that this is form of of a shower.....desires some extra rounds interior the around pen. Or being conditioned in the back of a quad .... some on a regular basis long trotting. I additionally must say i've got seen some marvelous halter horses of Greg Whalens', Jack Brizendine, Ted Turner...this horse would be complicated pressed to compete with them....i'm curious however to verify what share halter factors this horse has....... Edit: ...the pony is at the instant being shown in Germany...owned by someone in Germany....he does have some halter factors, showmanship and delight factors.. . this concepts is in line with the present AQHA overall performance archives..... you prefer to bear in mind that their halter horses look somewhat distinctive from ours right here even however the pony would have been born stateside. The aformentioned running shoes have the marketplace cornered on halter horses and their conditioning classes, grooming classes, are certainly the ultimate that funds could purchase. the pony is likewise being shown in western excitement and this is totally perplexing to maintain a horse in best halter shape in the event that they're being ridden. this is why the AQHA has instituted a overall performance Halter type to get removed from the specialization it somewhat is making a large number of our industry. If this horse has overall performance halter factors..that's a threat that he's selecting up factors in that type.... Edit: it would be exciting to verify the place this horse is by using the fact the advert shows a Connecticut handle as a region.

I think they look healthy-they have a nice shine to the coats,I would rather see a heavy horse than horses that are too skinny. They look like they are well taken care of-they had some very nice looking horses on there.

They are not overweight. This is the build of draft horses. They are much thicker (all the way around) than a normal horse.
They look in great shape and well toned.

those horses are beautiful!
frankly your worrying about weight is the society we live in obessed with weight issues all the time. I would think there aer better things to worry about then weight.

in fact none of those horses are overweight. they are just about right. don't fret it. those drafts look like halflinger/belgian crosses, they are supposed to look like that they are draft horses. teh lady up the street has pure belgians and they are huge. they intimidate me when I am in the pasture petting them even tho they are gentle as lambs.

They look characteristically drafty to me - but definitely not in the least bit overweight :) They have a nice tone and shine to them - as do all of the horses on their page. They look very well cared for.

Those little saddles on them don't help much! What's wrong with a little weight? I would rather have fat then skin and bones. They just need some conditioning and they would look awesome! Lets not gripe about the healthy horses!

All of the horses on that page appear to be in excellent body condition for their breeds. I do not think they are the least bit overweight.

They look great.
They have a very deep girth which makes them look fatter.
It's just the draft horse shape compared to everything else - short legs, deep girth

They dont look overweight at all they just need some muscle tone. Just a little more exercise and they will be cut and trim but other than that they arent over weight.
