I mean, I love acting and am pretty good already. But I'm wondering if good dancing skills and athleticism are required to be, let's say, an Academy Award-winner? I have no coordination or speed. I'm not very graceful, either. On the contrary, I'm sort of a klutz. Would I be likely to be the next Meryl Streep? Is that possible?

Dancing and singing are only necessary if you want to work in a musical.

Athletic skills? Well, if the role calls for a lot of it...otherwise, that's what stunt people are for.

I don't think Meryl Streep is known for dancing, or a four-minute mile. I could be wrong. That happens occasionally.
