I'm going to Vegas in June. When should I book my hotel in order to get the best deal? Should I do it early or late? I don't want to get stuck without a room. Oh yeah. We want to stay at Harrah's.

You can book now at the current rate to be sure you have a room.

Then keep an eye on specials on the Internet for that hotel, even their own web site. If you find a lower rate contact them and tell them you would like the new rate.

If you never find a lower rate then you have a good deal already, if you do they will give you the lower rate. Many people do this all the time to be sure they have a room and time to shop for a good rate for that room.

I answered your Q "Reservations in Vegas" three weeks ago >Almost word for word the same advice that "Vegaslee" has just given you.

>If you're not going to listen to me, listen to him. You will save yourself a lot of money.

The first couple of weeks in June are "generally" pretty good for room rates. If you can go a little earlier, Memorial day, until the Friday after are four of the cheapest nights of the year.

Harrah's is pretty nice(I used to work for them) but you might be better served to keep your options open. You might as well get the best value for your $$.

I use these sites to check rates

It depends....you will have to do research to see if there are going to be any special events going on while you are there. Harrah's...yall could do better than that. But anyway, I suggest you book it now or at least 3 to 6 months prior.

Earlier is better. The rates are a little cheaper. You can check all the casinos at Vegas.com. I like Tropicana better. But Harrah's is nice.
