one it isn't my home work we were asked to "brush up" on some of the facts before starting the lesson. and she suggested to go on here. smart one. and two i dont waste my time finding a catagory because no on cares. You sound like a geeeeeek!

He may also have invented a version on the armillary sphere
and created a map of the world based on the available geographical knowledge of the era.

Brittany, first of all, do your own homework. Second of all, at least have the courtesy of asking the questions in the right forum. Eratosthenes would be a historical figure, not an issue of Earth Sciences & Geology.
