relatives involved and my power of attorny was revolked even though my mother at the time was deemed unfit to conduct any business or personal care and health, I have this in writting from the Doctor and testers and she went into a nursing home, my evil ex husband involved as well...but the GICS where right of surviorship so they are mine and one is due this month and they need a copy of the death certicate in order for me to do anything with it

County 'hall of records' will have the death certificate.

Do a websearch for your state to obtain the address/information for vital statistics. Many states offer online ordering of such information for a small fee.

Check with the funeral home. It is also on record in the Hall of Records, or wherever records are stored in your county seat.

You should be able to get a DC at the county courthouse of the county she died in.
