Find a sign-write why you think that colour was used for that sign. Can anyone think of any sign(road signs etc..)and explain why that colour was used for the sign?

The arch of mcdonalds are yellow and are shaped like french fries. You could use that.

Stop sign: Red is a color of urgency. So the stop sign means, "It is urgent that you stop now!"

Railroad crossing: Yellow is a warning color. Railroad Xing sign means " You should watch out for the railroad."

Stop signs are red as apparently red is a color that gets your attention. I believe there have been many studies on this.

I would work that angle if I was you.

umm, a stop sign, used red cause its vibrant and people would see it. the white is used so it would stand ou against the red. the red is also used because it doesnt blen in with the surroundings.

why is a stop sign red - and not blue or green
because red is the color for STOP/DANGER
