Right now, which is early in the morning here in Australia. It's 5:27am and the other 7 people in the household are asleep; it's just me and the dog. I do my web surfing and some more disciplined stuff, like paperwork, during this golden hour (or two if I'm lucky).

at that time, I'm laying my head on my husbands chest, feeling his heart beat and the steady rise and fall of his chest as he breathes....My cheek rests in a forest of wirery hair, his torso my pillow, his scent surrounding me.
