Do you star a question in hopes of getting best answer and when your answer isnt picked you take it away? I dont i star every question just cause they dont matter and people like seeing they receive one so if its free to give give it!!!

No I don't remove stars from questions that I starred and that I didn't receive a best answer for. I don't star questions in the hopes of getting a best answer. I star them because I find them interesting and I think that my contacts might find them interesting as well.
