The main place to look is the history file (Ctl+H), but that is easy to 'edit'. If you're wanting to check up on the kids, don't forget about the cookie files. Many websites put cookies on the computer to remember your preferences, usernames, and so-forth. You can look at the list of cookies on your PC. The path varies depending on how you're set up, but mine it's: C:\Documents and Settings\Cookies. You could also do a Windows search for folders named Cookies. Once there, choose View, Details and you get a list, in chronological order or alpha order of the cookies on the PC. On my list I see [username]@answers.yahoo[1] among MANY others. Not sure what that cookie is for? Copy and paste the information after the @ sign into a web-browser (add www and .com in most cases) and you're on your way.
In the Mac side, it's under Preferences, look under Security.
Bottom line, be careful what you look for; you might find something you don't wish to see.

The history area, or, go to www.tucows.com and download a free key logger. I did, and now my daughters time is monitored on the computer.
