I really like Gentry. I went to school with a Gentry and I remember thinking what a cool name it was. In fact I believe he was named after someone's maiden name. Love it!

And I love Caroline as well.

I love Caroline! That's my name :) I would rethink Gentry for a boy though, it's a little too "out there" for my taste. Do you know that gentry is the class below nobility in England? If you're looking for some suggestions, I love the names Bennett, Jack, Charlie, and Carter! Good luck and God bless!

Gentry is the name of two gay clubs in Chicago.
LOL. Thats what I would think of if I ever met a guy named Gentry.

Sorry, I think it is dreadful for a boy. I actually think Caroline Gentry is cute; I'd think Gentry for a girl's given name was interesting, if not my style.

How 'bout Avery, Harrison, Davis, Walker, Maxwell or Everett?

I think it would be lovely if it were a family name, but it runs the risk of a few problems otherwise:

--the poor kid will definitely be made fun of
--if you were on a little league football team and were 7 years old, would you want to be named Gentry?
--gentry's meaning is something that could possibly be taken as a positive, and possibly as a negative
--nicknames would be???

You are listening to way too much Montgomery Gentry. I'd pass this one by. Give him a first name instead of a surname.

Gentry is spectacular, yet Brynli is amazingly infantile-finding, and it won't do her any favors whilst she has it on the precise of her resume. Does Brynli sound like the form of guy or woman you may have faith to deal with a) making financial judgements for a million-dollar employer, or b) brewing the coffee in the breakroom for the employer bosses? i think of that Brynlee looks greater beneficial, and that Brenlee and Brenley and Brennley are even greater beneficial yet.

I don't want to be a pooper, but I don't really feel for the name Gentry either.
