I'm all for doing something about kids who think we want to see what brand boxers they're wearing, but I just don't understand how it could be called racial profiling when white people and other ethnicities do it too! Does EVERYTHING have to be about race these days?

Your opinions?

As a matter of clarification to KittinJane: the laws they're trying to pass for baggy pants include girls who wear hipsters as well. I'm not trying to be a smartass, I promise! Just a thought =D

You know what's "racially profiling" is racially profiling that black people only where those ridiculous pants.
I'm more against the fact that a law like that is an infringement on personal rights. I don't want to see some morons underwear but if some other style comes up later that a vast majority of people don't like but I happen to , I want to have the option to dress that way. Besides, you see women/girls wearing hipster pants with their buttcrack sticking out everyday. Shouldn't those be illegal too?
Maybe we should just stick to the general rule that you shouldn't be looking in that area of a stranger anyway!

People who oppose baggy pants are also opposed to pants that are too tight. These people tend to be intolerant and suffer from Goldilocks Syndrome (too hard, too soft, too hot, too cold).

Lets just remember that eventually teenagers grow up and buy pants that fit.

I would like to shift the debate....what exactly is less attractive: the view of a teenage boy's boxer shorts; or the view of an overweight adults stomach that is hanging over his belt?

LMAO!! that pic is hilarious!
i wasn't bothered to read it, but yeah
people are pretty occupied with keeping things so not racist, that they become racist, kinda. ^_^
well anyways, i hate baggy pants. so yay!
gawd though, if that happened in norway, about not showing boxer brands, people would of wasted so much money o_o theres this like, designer underwear that's like boxers. girls and guys wear it, and if you walk down the street in town i bet you'll see like 100 kids wearing the same underwear
ps-sorry if that didnt make sense xD
