Trust is believing that someone is honest.
Honesty is being truthful, speaking the truth, honoring what you say, actions and words matching, etc.
If you are honest then you should be trustworthy but not necessarily.
Trust has more to do with character.

Trust is what is given when there is honesty. Trust is earned and honesty is learned by using tools such as, the "book" of religious or spiritual beliefs, and examples of others telling the truth or doing what is right and just.

Trust is what you earn by showing you are honest and dependable. You give trust to those who have proven they are honest and trust worthy. Honesty is always telling the truth and showing you have good values that others will see through your actions.

Trust is the level of confidence one has on another. For instance because you have been honest in all your doing all these years, I am confident in all your doings and I trust you in all you do and whatever you do. Honesty is the beginning of trust. It is without any pretension.
