The nature of stocks is that the price fluctuates.

You are supposed to buy low, and sell high.

You are not supposed to buy high, and sell low.

Let me guess, you bought it at a high?

Stockholders don't make money off of "successful distribution". They make money by taking a share of the company's profits. A company can have a great product or service and still not be able to figure out how to make money off of it.
