Excellent selection @ good prices. Check out the site's educational feature to learn about diamonds (4 Cs - carat wght., clarity, cut, color).

I've purchased from them & have recommended it to friends. Very pleased w/ quality & service.

My friend works in wholesale jewelry & told me that Blue Nile is a very particular re: quality & highly competitive re: price.

Steer away from "bargain" jewelry & most mall stores. High markup for low quality stones.

The benefit with that ring is that it is the set so obviously it fits each other. But personally, I am not a huge fan of white gold (or any gold for that matter) because of how weak it is. Now, I am not saying look for Tungsten Carbide (it gets pricey), but I think Platinum is a much more logical option than white gold. It's safe to assume you plan on wearing you engagement ring and wedding band for a long time and over that time white gold will scratch a lot easier then platinum.
Personally I found a stone seperately from the ring ... gives you the option to choose a different stone then a diamond if you want. Say you find a gemstone cutter online like www.precisiongem.com and then find a ring maker like www.adiamor.com you can craft your own ring. I actually found that it was fairly cheap and when I got the ring appraised it was worth twice as much as I spent.
I guess this is a roundabout way of saying if you are going to spend the money on a diamond ring, you should make sure the ring part will last long as well.

all diamonds have different quality and can only be appraised by an accredited gemologist. A diamond ring is a pure ego trip, so don't spend any more than you need to,because all it does is sit on your finger!

Well it is very pretty, but I don't know anything about diamonds, I would suggest printing off the picture and taking it to local jewelers in your area, they may have something similar and a better value.

GH is going to look yellowish not icy clear.
Do you have a department store close to you? I went to JCPenneys and asked for a brochure on diamonds. They gave me this nice color brochure that explains everything you need to know. This is something very important and you do not want to be dissappointed.

You are definitely posting to the wrong section; the only advice you might get in the Beauty & Style section will be based on how many carats it is. Try re-posting in the Weddings section.

Wow that is a nice ring. But Dear why are you shopping for your own ring? Your Fiancee should be picking it out and then surprising you with it.
