They've been battling for their NFC East division title since the 70's. The Redskins are discouraged by the Cowboys even more, while the Eagles fans tend to disapprove of Giants and Steelers fans more.

Eagles fans have developed a hatred for the Cowboys' success over the years. Eagles fans do not like how there are many bandwagon Cowboys fans across the country.
The "rivalry" is stronger in the eyes of Eagles fans. Cowboys fans love to brag how they have 5 Super Bowl rings and the Eagles have none, therefore they piss off Eagles fans very much and Eagles fans won't take their s***.
