My neighbor keeps telling me that if i don't quiet down my turtle from barking at night she'll call the cops. WTF? i think she's crazy. Turtles can't bark right?

Turtles don't bark, (they are known for hissing) but male frogs do to call mates. Frogs are rather active in the evening and night hours. Even small Tree Frogs (as big around as a dime) make a loud noise.

Turtles don't make vocalizations. They do hiss. Some click their jaws together. Some make a noise with thier shells. But, no barking.

Yes, she's either crazy, or hatching a brilliant plan to make you think that you are. In either case, I've never heard a turtle make ANY sound, let alone barking.
