Recently, 2 robbers shot and killed a man. However they also executed his 7 month old baby in his carseat just before they ran off.

People have called this horrible (which it certainly was) and this has been on the news alot.

However, millions of babies are killed all the time through abortion, yet this is not horrible to people? Double standard here?

It's not a double standard. Abortion is not considered murder. Unless the fetus can survive outside of the womb, it is not a self-sustaining life force. The murder of Lacy Peterson and her unborn son was considered murder of the infant due to the fact that the child was at term and could have survived if birthed or c-sectioned.

Murdering a person (self sustaining) regardless of age is still a murder. Consider all of the poor people that are being kept alive on life support with little or no brain activity just to appease those that are making the decision to keep them on life support. We don't even treat animals like this. That is where the double standard is - advocating pro-life so that an unborn child can have the opportunity at life but allowing those that are dead to continue living in a deplorable state for self gratification of others and not in the best interest of the person.

That is not a double standard.
The baby is the car seat was BREATHING. A fetus CANNOT breathe until it reaches a certain "age".
