dark. falling. flame.
i see the sun melt with the ground
i see my flesh melt with the flame
i see the dark melt
i see death

I am awesome at writing poems, but I do better when I have a theme to work with. I mainly write sad poems, so I hope that'll work for u!!!
Here it goes:
I layed on the ground
Blood by my head
It hurt so bad
I knew I was dead
The people were talking
and right beside me
But they were so far away
It was so hard to see
My death was caused by another
Another grown man
Or maybe just a little boy
with a knife in his hand
Because no grown man
In his right mind
Would ever commit such a grewsome crime
On the streets of New York
It was my time to go
But the man who killed me will never know
He won't know how sad my family will be
When my child is at home without his daddy
When my wife crys day after day
A scene runs in her mind like a horrid play
My dog will have no owner to take him on long walks
My daughter will have know one to play with her golden locks
My mom and dad will be so ashamed
That they're only son no longer has a name
The man who killed me all because
Some beer and a car, and a guy who was buzzed
I really hope you liked it!!! I just wrote it right now!! I am very good at writing sad poems, so if u need anymore help just email me!!!

Keep in mind that poetry does not have to rhyme. It just fits a certain pattern... maybe four lines, maybe eight. maybe a 16 line poem. Some poems all begin the same way and are factual
The Sun
... is our life source.
....is like a giant sparkler in the sky
....is ever constant
....is a furnace of 11,000 degrees
....is not a place for astronauts to venture
....is guilty of causing skin cancer
....is worshipped now as in the past
Now write your poem the same way about Death

Here's a Haiku
Darkness covers me
Struggling to take a breath
Death embraces me
5-7-5... hey it works

can't write it for you, but i can give you a good image to write about.
In the Tarot deck, one of the Major Arcana ( big picture card)
shows a skeleton, and is labeled DEATH. people who don't know much about the Tarot always gasp at that card, they think it means they will die soon.
but in Tarot, that is a symbol of change, sometimes even of growth. not a bad scary thing.

The sun has fallen from the earth
Man waits in the lonely cold dark place,
as distant war drums call our children
Calling them to the plains of blood.
To stand in the place of the fallen
Where their fathers died before them
For another hopeless cause
If the poem doesn't sound like you, your teacher might know

Light is pronounced liT,
Love is pronounced \.V,
T is the liT read upwards
V is the \.V read forwards
God is the Light and Love
One day God is T and V
The same person is T and V
Now who could God be?
