Yes. ( I was dissapointed by the FOX censors.)
http://goldderby.latimes.com/awards_goldderby/2007/09/the-emmys-reall.html
During acceptance speech:
"Surely this [award] belongs to all the mothers of the world. May they be seen, may their work be valued and raised. Especially to the mothers who stand with an open heart and wait. Wait for their children to come home from danger, from harm’s way, and from war. I am proud to be one of those women. If mothers ruled the world, there would be no...
"god-damned wars in the first place."
After event...
"And I very, very seriously think that if mothers ruled the world we wouldn't be sending our children off to be slaughtered."
"Technically, Field's censored words are not profane. A 2004 FCC ruling specifically stated no objection to the use of "goddamn" on TV when making a judgment on the uproar over Bono swearing at the Golden Globes in 2003 where he used more colorful language." (see http://www.fcc.gov/eb/Orders/2004/FCC-04-43A1.html)

I don't watch the Emmys--and this is a great example of why I don't. The job of a 'star' is to ENTERTAIN me. I don't want to hear their political views --especially when most of them have less than a high school education. I am not saying all actors/actresses are dumb, but rather show me a Hollyrude celeb with a degree in political science and I may be interested in hearing their views...........outside of an 'entertainment' venue.

Recap: http://youtube.com/watch?v=ImoMGyJjWIk
She stuttered horribly though ......."uh, uh, I forgot what I was going to say...uhm and war and uh..." LOL.

I cannot say the words as they are blasphemous , but she said GD 'it' . Later she said 'Hey quit making a big deal out of it.. .. . I was only emphasizing my point" . . . .. Well Sally , seems you need to learn better ways of emphasizing your point rather than BLASPHEMY .
BTW , in case you didn't know , Kathy Griffin said " Jesus is not responsible for me winning this award , I am and Jesus didn't help " . Then she went on to hold the award above her head and say " THIS is my god NOW " !!
God Help Us All .

Her character on "Brothers and Sisters" has a son that just went off to Iraq...she was condemning the war. She plays a very good character on her show.
I was suprised she won over Edie Falco though. My $$ was on Edie!
