Just finalized.

I gave up:
Maurice Jones-Drew
Matt Schaub

I got:
Marion Barber
Eric Johnson

I don't think MJD will have a repeat of what he did last year and I feel Barber will at least match if not exceed what MJD does.

I didn't start Schaub and I think he'll be extremely up and down.

I really needed some help at tight end and I think Johnson can be a viable option.

So my team is:
Starters:
Qb- Jon Kitna
Qb- Brett Favre
Rb- Brian Westbrook
Rb- Marion Barber
Wr- Chad Johnson
Wr- Calvin Johnson
Te- Jason Witten
Te- Eric Johnson
Flex- Adrian Peterson (Min)
K- Matt Stover
K- Mason Crosby
Def- San Diego

Bench:
Qb- Trent Green
Rb- Selvin Young
Wr- Mike Furrey
Wr- Santonio Holmes
Wr- Brandon Marshall
Te- Desmond Clark
Def- Carolina

Well????????

Perhaps I could have traded Schaub for more value but I offered him to every team in need of a QB and no one else bit. I do not plan on starting Schaub. I think his early performance will diminish significantly, but of course, only time will tell. Not to mention, Andre is already injured.

In addition, I drafted MJD to trade. I guess I could have held out and seen what happened, but I jumped at a trade that I thought gave me a better chance to win. I just think what MJD did last year was a fluke and Barber is the real deal. Again, time will tell.

And I was able to get a quality TE thrown in. A position I was sorely hurting at.

Oh, and for the third answer. I didn't have Green at the time. I picked him up after the trade went through. And I think he will prove to be a quality backup. One of a number of waiver pickups I think I lucked out on:

Trent Green
Brandon Marshall
Santonio Holmes

"Unless you have to start 2 QBs I'm lost as to why you had FOUR QBs."

At the time I only had three QBs: Kitna, Favre, and Schaub.

Right now I only have three QBs: Kitna, Favre, and Green.

I picked up Green from waivers after trading away Schaub.

And yes, we start two QBs.

Well I hate it to be honest.

You gave up a lot of talent to get Barber. Him and MJD are both in a split back system. Granted the one in Dallas is a lot better than the one in JAX, but still the same. Neither one of them are going to be the majority of the carries. Also Schaub right now is hot, and you didn't trade him for his max value. He along with Johnson destroyed what is a good CAR DEF. Also Johnson isn't going to have that much of an impact on the Saints offense that you hope it will. With the Saints offense being this bad to start the year, I would easily expect them to get the ball to Bush and McAllister more to start it up again.

Schaub is going to be a good QB and every QB has their up's and downs. To be honest I think you lost this trade big time. I would have traded away Green instead of Schaub. At least Schaub has Andre Johnson to throw to...and he will score. Green has Chambers who still doesn't have a TD. Bad move.

Bad trade, I feel you got ripped off.

Good luck!!

Edit: Well how deep is the league? I mean a guy like Garrard might have been more valuable to his team than Green. I know it seems a bit well off, but Garrard will have a good season with his RB's. Brown for MIA is screwing up big time and that puts a lot more pressure on Green. I see that hurting him down the line.

Also with Holmes and Marshall you got extremely lucky. Those guys will end up being big time WR in the NFL for their teams this year. Expect Marshall to have the better year though.

it's decent, not incredible.

marion barber sniffs out the endzone like a bloodhound, far better then mjd. so i think you got a benefit there.

then the next part, you give up schaub for a te? it looks like you are starting two Qb's and two TE's in your league. schaub as a qb will always outscore your eric johnson as a te. so the question is did you lose points in your Q2 two spot. since you have favre as the filler, i would say maybe losing 2-3 points a week with favre as qb2 vs schaub (despite favre's recent on fireness). then you upgrade your TE2 spot with eric johnson over desmond clark. not bad, i would say it is an upgrade and probably cancels out the downgrade to your QB 2 spot. so overall, you got an upgrade to your rb2 spot and pushed on the other portion.

You do have a good team but giving up on MJD will come back and hurt. Matt Schaub will be the diamond in the ruff as far as QB's are concern, but like I said Your team is good and hope you have good year.

I love the trade. Barber will have a much better year than Drew. Plus I think too many people value Schaub too highly. He hasn't done much yet and he doesn't exactly have the offensive weapons to help him out...except A.Johnson.

MJD is way overrated this year!

Unless you have to start 2 QBs I'm lost as to why you had FOUR QBs.

I would have just cut Trent Green and picked up a LaMont Jordan or Chris Brown or receiver.

I hate the stereotypical "regularly occurring woman" that catches the attention of the astounding guy. i theory Twilight became into cute, even nevertheless it became into yet yet another e book that had this. i'm uncertain why some authors sense compelled to create this style of state of affairs. i assume the single ingredient of those books, which extremely attracts readers in, is the secret. the completed supernatural creature ingredient (werewolf, vampire, angel, demon, regardless of) is meant to signify the unknown, or perhaps, taboo fringe of existence. It that unknown ingredient that snags specific human beings in its carry close. you decide on some suggestion? do no longer make it a love tale. in case you easily would desire to have romance in it, make it an extremely small component to the tale. as an occasion, interior the Harry Potter sequence, the dating between Harry and Ginny isn't a effective plot. whether it takes you an prolonged time, it will be worth it interior the top. anybody can write a unique, it takes an extremely specific style of guy or woman to place in writing an invaluable novel. Love - secret, suspense, semi-relaxing characters Hate - imbalance in relationships, repetitive tale lines/plots, "risk-free" memories. What I recommend by ability of "risk-free" is they do no longer take any possibilities. To be trouble-free, i think of if Meyer had sat on the Twilight tale for some greater years, further some issues, replaced some others, it ought to have been remarkably staggering. There are too many authors who're afraid to take possibilities with their sequence! Kill a lots enjoyed character, have somebody become a foul guy! detect your recommendations! desire this helped! happy holiday trips!

Good move for you. MJD will not get nearly as much TD's and Barber. Johnson will get his points in that offense once it gets going.
